Dear Cyndi and Pamela,
Cyndi and Pamela were the most amazing people to work with (total understatement!). My small intimate ceremony was at The Adamson House in Malibu CA (approximately 50 people) and my larger reception was at the Bel Air Country Club in Bel Air Los Angeles CA (approximately 160 people).
I researched countless planners in the LA area and got recommendations but nothing really was a slam dunk. Then I met Cyndi and Pamela and I can honestly say from the first second I met them I knew they were total pros that would deliver the best day (and weekend) of my life! I hired them for the month before the event, but they did several things above and beyond like meeting with the reception venue manager, walk through of the ceremony site, meet with the florist... all these amazing things before they were even technically "on the job"! Plus they were just SOSOSOSO easy to work with. You can tell them your direction, they get it and then they suggest more things to make it even better. I was working a demanding full time job so knowing that they were on the ball and keeping things moving forward allowed me to do a great job at work and then step in to make final decisions with the wedding. I know that these days wedding costs can really get out of control and it's hard to justify a lot of the charges vendors ask for but hands down, Cyndi and Pamela were so worth the money, and if I could make one recommendation on where to spend your money on one particular vendor, it's for an excellent planner. I was completely stress free from the details the days before and most importantly the day of so I could concentrate on this amazing step I was taking in my life.
The event went off so smoothly and yet there were problems that came up (that I didn't know about) but what makes good planners is that I never caught wind of these. Pamela and Cyndi totally kept all the guests happy. The real testament to their fabulocity is sort of more personal... my 2 year old niece was my flower girl and she is not the most well behaved. The night of the rehearsal dinner, my niece was struggling with all the new people and events but that night she was a little angel because of Pamela and Cyndi who sat with her and played w/her, and low and behold she was PERFECT the day of the wedding because she totally trusted Pamela and Cyndi. That's just one small example of the way they went above and beyond to make things go smoothly.
I cannot stress highly enough how important it is to have a great right hand on your most important day (or important event). My mom loved working with them so much she hired them for the breakfast at her home the day after my wedding AND for my brother's wedding rehearsal dinner at Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica and they threw the best party!
Thanks Pamela and Cyndi for being dream wedding planners that delivered so far and above my expectations, I wish my words could capture just 1/10th of the magic you created!!!
